NTT DoCoMo adopted completely new fonts in its cell phones. The first model to get this makeover was SHARP’s SH-01A, released in November 2008. The newly added font, which is set as its default font, is the AXIS Font. Talked to Kinya Tagawa of Takram who was involved in its development and its type designer Isao Suzuki.
