POLA declared 2002 as its year of re-establishment, and initiated the restructuring of its brand, a reexamination of the company’s visual identity (VI) was carried out as well. We have interviewed Satoshi Arita who was the branding project leader at the time. He said that typefaces are an important factor in VI.
