Two types of styles are prepared for the OpenType font fraction. One is “fraction (afrc) with the use of a horizontal line,” and the other is “fraction with the use of a slash (frac).”
Proper fractions that cannot be reduced of which the denominator is from 2 to 12, “0/3,” and “1/100” are included in the ProN edition of AXIS Font. The reason that “0/3” is included in the numerator 0 is to express the innings pitched by a pitcher in baseball. It signifies an inning without getting even one out.
