Introduction to FitFont Service 03: “Combination Between Kanji, Kana, and Latin”

FitFont Service can provide the combination of the partner’s Latin font and Type Project’s Japanese font as one font.

Various combinations between Kanji, Kana, and Latin can be simulated in the Type Project website. By adjusting the weight, contrast, and character width in the slide bar on screen, the optimal combination is searchable in accordance with the application.

In this simulator, AXIS Font and TP Mincho have 1,071 variations, respectively; TP Sky has numerous variations with 26 stages of contrast, 34 stages of weight, and 16 stages of character width, 26 stages of inside space between strokes (called futokoro in Japanese). Seamless generation is possible.
